Moon Colony Bloodbath is an EP released by the Mountain Goats and John Vanderslice in 2009 on Cadmean Dawn Records for sale on their Gone Primitive Tour. A remastered edition was rereleased in 2024 and included liner notes. Vanderslice sings lead vocals on songs 2, 4, and 6, and John Darnielle sings lead on tracks 1, 3, 5, and 7.
According to a demo of "Surrounded" released online in 2007, the working title for the Vanderslice-Darnielle project was "The Comedians".
