The First Spring Tour 2008 was a February and March 2008 tour by The Mountain Goats of the American and Canadian West Coast in promotion of their then-recent album Heretic Pride. The touring lineup was John Darnielle on vocals and guitar, Peter Hughes on bass, and Jon Wurster on drums.
Jeffrey Lewis was the opening act for the Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Eugene, and Los Angeles shows. The San Francisco shows were part of Noise Pop 2008. Jeffrey Lewis, OKAY, and Aim Low Kid opened at Bimbo's, David Dondero, Tulsa, and Conspiracy of Venus opened at the Independent, and So Many Dynamos, Caves, and D.W. Holiday opened at Bottom of the Hill.
