The Nameless Dark Tour was an October through December 2012 tour by the Mountain Goats of North America in promotion of their then-recent album Transcendental Youth. The touring lineup was John Darnielle on vocals, guitar, and piano; Peter Hughes on bass; and Jon Wurster on drums. There were two legs on the tour—the first one included the American Northeast and Midwest (with one Canadian date in Toronto), and the second one included the American South and West.
The opening act for all shows was Matthew E. White, and his 3-piece horn section accompanied the Mountain Goats for some of the songs during their set.
The name of the tour is taken from a line in the title track of Transcendental Youth.
